The 40-X is the ultimate in a weight controlled release float. Fish the
40-X behind the boat while trolling the Original ClearBoard planer boards.
Using a combination of two release floats gives the ability to fish the so-called
dead water behind the boat. With the 40-X you can fish live bait free
lined at the surface or 100 feet down. Once a fish attacks the bait the release
clip rleases and allows the 40-X to slide down to the attached leader.
